How to fix iTunes error 14

Error 14 is related to either your USB port or internet connection.

Step 1: Try with a different USB port (preferably one on the back of the machine) and a different cable if available.

Step 2: Try disabling any security software. Unsure how? Check out this page with video instructions for an excellent way to rule out security software.

Step 3: Have you ever called your internet service provider to resolve an issue with your connection? Or perhaps installed a patch to resolve "lag" or "ping" issues? It may be an issue with Packet Size. This is normally not modified, but with popular online games like World of Warcraft requiring fast reponse times, players may install patches that alter Packet Data to improve performance.
